Home Place

Your home away from home



Built in 2009, The Home Place is our original cabin. Guests often comment about it’s corrugated tin ceiling. (Don’t worry…it has a shingled roof and insulation, so the temperature is under your control and if it rains, you’ll barely notice…unless it’s a real East Texas gully washer.)

The Leanin’ Tree is our newest edition to the Cabin Creek experience. You will not be disappointed with this 2-bedroom / 1 bath beauty. This cabin has all of the conveniences to have the most relaxing stay but in a rustic and peaceful atmosphere and setting. Nestled in the beautiful East Texas woods, you will enjoy the large deck, stairs, and cooking area in the back. You will feel like you are one with nature.

Gypsy Hideout

Step inside Gypsy Hideout where you will be greeted by a cozy, eclectic interior that feels like a treasure trove of discoveries. With a fun collection of comfy furniture and decor, each piece tells a story of its own.


A king bed in the master and queen in the guest room await your slumber. The windows in the bedrooms offer glimpses of the star-strewn sky at night and the golden light of dawn in the morning.

The Farmhouse

Tucked in the East Texas countryside, The Farmhouse at Forest Chapel is the place to be! This newly renovated farmhouse has the amenities of a new home with the charm of the original home. Boasting 2 full bedrooms and 2 full baths, this great home will sleep 6 comfortably! Sit on the porch and enjoy the quiet country or gather around the kitchen for some home-cooked meals, either way this feels like home.
